Redmond, OR –Housing Works has announced that the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher program (formerly known as the HUD Section 8 program) will be open January 12, 2015 at 12:01am through January 16, 2015, 11:59 p.m. This program is open to low income qualified residents of Deschutes, Jefferson and Crook counties. Applicants must apply online at www.oregonhousingworks.org. Upon request, Housing Works staff will provide technical assistance for clients filling out the online application. Anyone who is currently on the waiting list will need to reapply to the 2015 list. The one-year waiting list is organized through a computerized lottery.
