About Housing Choice Vouchers

Housing Works administers a federal contract with the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide rental assistance (Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers) to lower-income households in Central Oregon.  We currently assist over 1,200 families and individuals on a monthly basis through the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program.  This program brings over $7 million annually into the Central Oregon rental market, and includes more than 500 participating local landlords.
